Holy Paintings, Batman!

Christopher Uminga is a freakin’ genius!  He is the mastermind behind the paintings/drawings I am posting on here. I really like the way he paints everything so zombie like. His drawings have so much to say while truly being painted in a  surreal way.

I am an illustrator and a painter. I see monsters in my head and I put them on paper or canvas and let them play. This is my art;I paint and draw things that make me happy.

My favorite painting that I have posted has to be The Joker.  The absolute insanity Christopher portrays in his eyes is awesome.  The blood stained card and hands – exceptional!  Let us not forget he painted The Joker in true form to the original Joker in the Batman series, right down to his corsage.  What he paints is true new age masterpieces.

I know I posted mostly, OK, entirely comic book characters, but he also creates more than just that. If it goes bump in the night or possibly in the day, Christopher will paint it, hell he will even paint your insanities for a price.  If you want to check out more of his work or commission him to paint you a masterpiece, you can click here.  If you really like his stuff and want to have updates of what he is doing you can befriend him on FaceBook here.  Oh, and if you want to get updates from me on FaceBook, click here.  I know…shameless plug.

Where Beauty Eats Braaaiiiinnns!

ALRIGHT!!!! Finally a calendar that the macabre loving freaks will enjoy.  MyZombiePinup is a $20 calendar the has scantly clad decaying zombie women.  This is the coolest thing I have seen in a long time, next to Fangoria doing a calendar with women and corpses.  The nice thing is that it follows all the original rules of classic pin-up, reveal enough but leave that much more to the imagination minus the rotting flesh and open wounds.

This 12 month calendar is stuffed with more dead sexy girls than you can fit in a shallow grave. We dug up the idea of the vintage 1950′s pin-up and hit it over the head with a shovel. Let yourself get infected by these bloody gore-gous women who are just dying to get under your skin.

A mere 2,000 of these high quality Gigantanormouse 12X12 calendars were made, and they are going fast!

Did I mention that also sell Sweat shirts and other assorted clothing?

To hell with the Bike, I want THIS!!!

more about “To hell with the Bike, I want THIS!!!“, posted with vodpod

Alright!!! Finally someone went and took a 900RR Motorcycle engine and made one hell of a Go Cart out of it. I have to say that if it came down to this beast vs a motorcycle I would be in for one hell of a decision. Man, the only thing they could do to make this even better would be to take the GSX-1300R Engine and strap it into this monster. I might have to call these people up. LOL

Absolut Boston! Vodka with Tea

absolut-boston1

I am so excited and I don’t even drink vodka.  Being from New England, like many other areas, places a certain pride in Boston.  The wonderful people at Absolut decided to make a bunch of limited run Boston edition flavor.  I like to think that, from my heritage, that they would have at least put Guiness in the vodka but sadly no.  They decided, due to the Boston Tea Party, they added tea to it.  One of the really cool things about the bottle is the Green Monster background on the label.  Here is an except of the write up or something…damn it is early.

Absolute Vodka is paying tribute to Boston by creating a special edition brew just for the Hub.

The Swedish spirit maker is out with a new limited edition flavor — black tea and elderflower vodka. The company’s marketing president said the significance of tea in Boston’s history is well known, which is why it was included as an ingredient.

The label on the bottle has a Green Monster-like backdrop.

Absolut plans to toast the city Wednesday with the unveiling of a “Wall of Pride” on Boylston Plaza at the Prudential Center and former “Cheers” bartender Eddie Doyle will preside.

Special tiles on the structure that have quotes from notable Bostonians will be auctioned off to raise money for the Charles River Conservancy.

The Boston-flavored vodka is the third the company has rolled out since 2007 after starting with Los Angeles and New Orleans. Absolute Vodka is paying tribute to Boston by creating a special edition brew just for the Hub.
