I love to post things that make people think, so with that being said I give you Remembering the Death Star. It is a conversation in a cantina between three stormtroopers. They talk about where they were when the Death Star blew up and why it did. There are a lot of close comparisons between the Death Star and the Twin Towers on 9/11/01. Take the video however you like, but it is really well done and very amusing. I hold no views other than how do stormtroopers drink?
I am a huge fan of freaky and twisted household objects. So when I saw these freaky pools I was hooked. Any pool where I can have the illusion of swimming over New York, or a pool table with balls that look like they float on the water is definitely a want in my book. Ok…So this is a band from a good friend of mine – hence the Shameless Plug. Pesky J Nixon is a Folk band (yes, I said Folk). Personally, I really like to listen to the most eclectic mix of music you can imagine. We are talking about Les Claypool to Bach to Cradle of Filth to Hed P.E but I was never one for folk or country. So for me to say I really like Pesky’s stuff is just…weird. Ethan gets extra respect, due to the fact he has to deal with me on a daily basis because we work together. I am in a nice mood right now so I am going to include their music player too. Check out their site and buy a few tickets to go see them in person (something I have yet to do, but hey…he hasn’t visited me yet either). They are a damn good time!

Now I know what you must be thinking right now and now this does not suck like every other fan made video. These guys are gamers…Hard Core Gamers. They know their classic and newer Nintendo games and characters. The actors in this are really that…Actors.
Let me paint a picture for you. Think of Sin City, the movie not the comic. Remember how dark and seedy it was? Think of gang violence with drugs and sex and murder. Now you have a vision of what this series is all about. It is set-up in a 9 part mini-series. Yes, Mario and Luigi are the main characters but thank God they do not have the annoying overkill accents. Luigi and Mario sell Drugs, Mushrooms, out of their home. There are 4 Mafia Dons that run the city, Princess Peach is in charge but is sleeping with Mario and Luigi without Mario knowing.
Man This thing has it all! After watching the first 16 minute video I was hooked. Each video is around 14 minutes long and worth every minute of it. Hit the jump below to watch the first 7 of the series. I promise you it is worth it.
